Thanks,i haven't seen this before it was of great help :)

actually its under the side plates.

its supposed to be something like this one has.

Thanks.
Here is it again with some fixes,if there is any more banding tell me where, cos i dont see any :D

Well, the most attractive banding seems to be on the two "fingernails" of his right hand.
I don't know what your preferred fix might be, but how about, say, shifting the "fingernail" of the right hand little finger 1 pixel upwards in the picture?
Unit perspective is, albeit very slightly, top down, isn't it?

They are actually energy blades, and dont have an exactly regular shape, but i did rework them and they look like i want them to look now ;)
Is the perspective a problem? Maybe i should edit the feet a bit so they look less top down?

IMO the feet are fine, but the rest of the unit feels seen from below.

Well, if the perspective would be the problem, then imho it would be the problem in most of your sprites.
But we could also very well call it consistency, and I think that is probably how most people see it.

Somehow I feel like it would soon "turn out" that I would be writing about banding problems "that you didn't ask for in the first place".
But it is more likely that I have just developed a little paranoia in the forum lately.

I personally have trouble reading his left (our right) arm. Is it meant to be bent to the top?

Here is what was supposed to be lvl.3 rector but i somehow made it the same size as the lvl2,and i'm not sure he's readable.

I'd chose a different color scheme for the silver armor. It actually is very readable to me what is armor and what is skin, but it would just look a lot better if there was more difference in color. Right now there is a lot of cool greys and blues and it leaves the sprite looking rather bland compared to the others.

As for the level 1 & 2, even knowing what is going on with their clenched fists, I have a very hard time reading it like that. I'm not sure what to suggest with the first one except that his arm is pretty small, so extending the elbow down may help a little, but it's still going to be mostly hidden by that armor piece on his forearm, so i don't know how much difference it would make. You could also extend the arm away from the body a pixel, but it may be enough to give the sprite an unbalanced feel, I dunno.
For the level 2, I think simply making the forearm armor piece the same as what the level 1 has and showing the elbow in skin would instantly fix any readability problems on that one.

I think the skin colors you use could use some more contrast, preferably with some color. Maybe some blues in the shadows or something; I'm not really a fan of straight grey color ramps for anything. At least use some of those blues you have on the silver armor scheme for skin on the units with gold armor. If you leave the silver armor the same color, then plain greys for skin is okay for differentiation. Or perhaps adding a slight tint of another color would work with both schemes.

if you mean his right hand,it's supposed to be an open hand, maybe i should change it if its not obvious?
i haven't changed anything major, just adjusted the size of the rector lvl.2 he was too big.and some changes to the lvl.3.I'l address other suggestions these days.
I also need names for lvl.1 and 2 rector,i'm open to suggestions.

Belonging to the peanut gallery, I would say it needs more outlines. Otherwise it is pretty darn good. :D
