It's RA3 tesla trooper.

Backwards-leaning is bad. Think of your sprites on a planar perspective when it comes to legs. The center of gravity should be right in the middle between the two feet- a nice trick Sleepwalker taught me.

better not, while the sprite has distinctive differences to the starcraft inspiration, giving him its name will draw a definite link

I think the weapon should have another color than his skin (if it isn't skin - but it does not look like this.)

very decent spritework, I'd say the weapon colour is fine, very unique, but the surrounding of his head is very confusing - what is that anyway?

Actually the skin is gray and its seen only in the face,legs and arms a bit, everything else is armor.

Big shoulder pads and the three head-tails, i think they are a bit confusing...

Ah, after re-looking, you are right. Still you may want to change the color of the weapon shaft, since it gets confused with the armor bits.
