Um, I'm not much good at criticism, but I'd think the ram would be bigger towards the front (bottom) of the sprite and that the ram itself would be larger and unless it's going to promote (in which case, it should be saved for the promotions) have a steel tip. Alsom it looks a bit small, but maybe that's just me.

I am not much of an artist, but here is a rough frankenstein/recolor/scratch drawing of a battering ram taken from the caravan in SoF with most of the colors used in yours. I'm thinking yours is better though.

NurlorVoronwe's one faces SE as is the standard orientation for units in wesnoth.

Mountain_King's one is based on the wagon which is a "dummy unit" (?) hence it does not really have to interact with other units that much. It has more detail but might not work as well with other units.

Magi and Trolls make siege-engines obsolete
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

They would, except that NurlorVoronwe is making a campaign on the second Punic War. No magi, no trolls. Only humans...and elephants.

true, again :lol2:
Rams are not for recruitment and only appear in the first scenary, as the caravan in SoF. They are weak against any attack, except for ranged attacks. rams could also attack units, but its precision would be very bad (it is easy to dodge a ram...), but would have a excellent attack on structures, towers, that are sometimes seen in certain campaigns. That's the idea.

Obviously if you want the faction alone, that's perfect, it would be very cool, even more, I'm thinking about creating shamans and priests in every faction, a hint of Akkarin345 :)

Franckenpack features an elephant :) : http://forums.wesnoth.org/download/file ... &mode=view

There also are elephant and hippo riders in Era of Four Moons, maybe you could do something with that.

Yes, I had it in mind to make the elephants, but I try to change the colour, to be more consistent with a real elephant
