Vladcara's Graphics - Working on Abrachi Desert Warriors

Post by Vladcara »

Hello everyone-I set up this thread due to a request from artisticdude. I'm looking for some unit sprites (amongst other things) for some new units to include in my campaign. At the moment I'm looking for some Vampire horsemen, along these sort of lines:

Level 1: A bloodborn riding a black horse and wielding a dagger
Level 2: A fledgeling riding a partially armoured black horse and wielding a shortsword
Level 3a: An armoured vampire (red armour) riding a fully armoured black horse and wielding a longsword & shield
Level 3b: An armoured vampire (black armour) riding a fully armoured black horse and wielding a lance

If anyone could help with these sprite requests that would be great, and I will be posting new requests as they come up in the campaign.
Thanks

There's a vampire faction in Era of Myths that you could grab art from.

Just frankenstien a vampire on to a horse. You can get the horse from the franken packs.

Ok, this is my attempt at the unit tree for the vampire cavalry (minus one). What do you all think?

Well, the bloodrider looks more powerful than the vampire horseman, in my opinion. And there's a lot of flaws, but as they're frankies, well...

Were I to switch the heads of the first two, and swap them around in the unit tree, would that make them look better?

EDIT: Such as this?

They are far too high up on their horses. Look at where the hips are and where the saddle is.

If you need help, look at the mainline Cavalry and Horseman.

I would suggest removing the hood entirely and going with a different head.

Look ing pretty good but it looks like the vampires are really uncomfortable on those horses.... maybe the should ride on undead horses instead.

Good idea. Maybe you could even use the chocobones horse. :?:

EDIT: Oh. In-fact if you need some more UMC units to frankenstein then why don't you head over to my old Minotaurs Era thread and grab a few of them. Help yourself to what ever I'm not using there just collecting dust(Or internet space :augh: ).

Ooookay, if you say so. :) I rendered the stone frame using a 3d program, but I'll redo the entire thing in pixel art.

What program? I use sketch up and sometimes blender but I don't think they can do that.
