@bera Looking great to me!
@tsi hehe it is. The main character in this campaign does have a spear.

In which case, it looks pretty good to me, except that i'd tone down the orange of the tunic - it looks way too bright and saturated.

Overall this is great work, but there are a few things that don't fit in for me:

He's holding the spear like you would a quarterstaff, as though he planned on beating people up with the shaft rather than stabbing at them with the point

His right hand seems to be holding the shaft so that the spearhead should point slightly toward the viewer, while his left hand holds the shaft in a way that makes it looks as though the butt of the spear should be pointing slightly towards the viewer.

TSI: I was very happy with the color for the coat actually :). Besides I was afraid saturating it down would all lead to similar colors and some variety is always good.

Kenpachi: Yes you are right - I enlarged his right hand a bit, but you should also keep in mind that it's further back from the viewer as compared to his left hand.

artisticdude: Well, as the observer is stationed almost facing the muzzle of the wolf (that's center of the picture) each side of the spear should be curved in opposite directions.

elvish pillager: Glad that you liked it. With this one, I'll consider it finished. I'm not very happy the way he sits on the wolf btw - he looks hanging over it instead of actually sitting. However due to an accident that merged up layers on my working file, I can't fix it at this stage unless I basically start shading it all over again. I'll continue with the other goblins, and it'll be the one you requested armed with a bow.

The wolf's head seems too small (or the body too big).

The mane is a little small, but the head looks fine to me.

I would suggest giving the goblin a darker complexion.

Here's the first draft of Caercyn. I'm pleased with the palette and design, but I still not happy with the face. He still needs a weapon (I've decided on a warhammer, since I modeled him partly on the classic D&D paladin, and the damage type will distinguish him more from things like the Grand Marshall), and we may want to put something on the shield.

It's good to be back at spriting.

Yeah, he definitely needs more color.

The face looks fine to me though.

Really really cool, but for the [seemingly] shrunken head.

I would agree with Bandit that the head needs to be maybe a pixel taller, wider, or both.

I would also suggest putting some sort of design on his tunic (maybe just a vertical gold stripe).

The warhammer is excellent.

Bigger head and some minor tampering with the weapon hand. I'm leaving the tabard pure white out of personal preference. I think this is finished now.

Oh, and could you make me a transparent version for me? (not really sure what that is, just saw it in other campaigns. Do I need one and what is it?)

Transparent means that it doesn't have a background color.

For example:

Not-transparent

Transparent:

This isn't really necessary for campaign portraits though. The non-transparent version is only for the unit description. If you need the portrait for talking, than that one should already work.
