Swedish military faction

Hello Wesnoth forum!

Ive played Wesnoth for about a year, and felt its about time i made some own 3rd party content. As im currently conscripted into the Swedish army, i wanted to make a mod that throws me and my everyday life into the Wesnoth world. So me and a couple of programmers from my platoon have just start making a faction and a campaign about a swedish company that accidentally gets dimension-warped-something to the Wesnoth world and their journey to find their way back home.

The main concept is that the soldiers look like regular soldiers do when you recruit them, but when they level up, they start replacing and supplementing their equipment with things they find along the way.

The units showed below are the ones ive finished so far. Some comments, critics and compliments would be appreciated.

This is interesting. I laughed when I saw the hookah units.

As far as the quality of these units go, they're very well done. No critique here.

I am incredibly amazed by the quality of your sprites. And first post too! Great job, can't wait to see a release. Especially love the hookah unit.

Overall, very nice spritework. I think the standard bearer may be too big for level 1, though. It's pretty much the same size as the Honor Guard.

I take, you've never seen a live-size scandinavian, then. Us northeners tend to grow quite tall. IMHO it's only reasonable to have a tall fellow as the standard bearer to kind of warn the foe about what's coming to them.

I just wonder, what combat purpose does the Hookah Crew and Chill Masters serve... Do they attack their enemies with swedish drinking songs? :hmm:

They corrupt them and lessen their morale (kind of negative leadership) :).

I really like Maverick unit with his deadly rack.

Will all these units have female variants?

The units look great.
Combat Comrades and Army of 2 are too similar. The should be differentiable at battlefield.
The team seems to have easy healing. Medic(I think +4) at 0 gold and Healer(maybe +8) at 1 gold. This makes them quite powerful.

well, having cheap lvl0 healers is quite good ...
