Not much, just a quick go at the Lv 1 Kiaris cat-rider (this version is not final but will be used in the era demo).

I think that the flareknight and the pyromancer could use a bigger flame. Fire naturally looks dramatic. Take that away and you might as well not be using it. everything else looks good though :)

I don't want to flame or anything, but the thundercaller lookes ripped off from the Imperial Era (Isaelfr).

Some of the sprites (such as the flareknight and flameranger) need thumbs. Other than that, these look nice. :) Can't wait for the era to come out.

Some of the units are "ripped off" (well, frankenstiened/recolored) from other eras, but hopefully in the end I will make everything fully custom. By then my spriting ability should be improved. I often custom bits of armour, and the top half of the rider for the cat-rider is customed (except the face), as was the thunderbringer's thunder. So is the arm and cloak on the Myorian hunter. That particular unit was basically a recolor job and has had probably the least changes from all the units.

I will try and edit the Kalibaar units for fire and thumbs.

The Kiari Beast-tamer's torso is facing at the viewer, when it should be facing in the same direction as the head.

The Myor Hunter's spearhead is rather bent.

Could you edit the Kalibaar elves heads a bit? Now they look totally copy-pasted from mainline elves. Perhaps changing the hair color/hue or even style.

Just a quick update, I am still working at this. Expect some new stuff soonish (Kalibaar archer line, upgraded Kiaris cat-rider and archer, upgraded Pyromancer, possibly some Lv 3 Myorians or some alternate upgrades).

Since I should really be making this stuff from scratch now, here is a fully custom Kiaris hoplite (head was taken from an older scratch sprite I made).

More contrast, and try experimenting with some anti aliasing on the spear, glaive, thingo.

Nice, but that pink beneath the eyes seems like the eyes, so you can't see them. A teensy-weensy fix.

The sprite is cool, but it's pillow shaded. The outlines are rather jagged, and it's hard to tell, but they look like they're pure black... big no-no in Wesnoth sprites.

What sort of pillowed ? That the shading is all near the centre or that the shades don't get lighter/darker depending on where the limb etc is on the sprite ?

What parts are jagged (all or ..) ? I do tend to work mostly in black outlines but there is def. some colored in there.
