Hopefully I'm going to be able to find someone to add the shadows in for me.

Shadows arn't all that hard, give it a go. For starters, try using colours from mainline sprites.

I tried to fix the Hunter's shading. Still not perfect but I hope it's an improvement. I'm going to apply a darker but not as dark as before shade in the deepest folds. Something also needs to be done about that little middle highlighted bit, but I'm not sure whether it'll go or be edited.
That'll do for Myorian sprites for now, time to get enough so that my other factions can be placeholdered when the era starts up. The Kiaris will have the Hoplite, Archer, and probably a unit mounted on a great cat and some kind of caster with their upgrades, and the Kalibaar will have the Flamerager, Firebow, some kind of monstrous ally unit and a caster with their upgrades. Then I'll decide on faction four, do all of it's basic units and upgrades, and then go back to the Myorians.

Four things that you need to start using, if you haven't been already:
1) Transparent backgrounds!
2) Layers, Layers, Layers. Use a different layer for EVERYTHING. Try things out on different layers, etc. I'm guilty of not using this feature enough.

4) use GIMP. Paint and Paint.NET are very lacking when used for spriting.

I tried GIMP a week or so ago, and found it terribly confusing. Here is the full era sheet, complete with shadows, though.

I think those shadows need to be bigger, they're too small.

I think you should drop the shadows for the weapons.
As they are now they seem to be in totally wrong places.
The light is supposed to be coming from (our) upper right. That means objects cast shadow towards (our) down-right.
Take the hunter, for example. The shadow of the spear suggests that the light comes from directly above.
The shadows of weapons of mounted units are even more off. I try not to imagine where the weaons should be to cast shadows to these places on ground...
Otherwise... I really like your sprites.
One other thing... isn't flareknight holding the torch too close to the fire? He would burn his fingers holding it like that. I think.

still too small. They're not reaching beyond the person themselves, and for a giant bull, the shadow should be bigger.
