The_Gnat wrote:Sfault i was just looking through your thread and i really like your art! I saw your franken dwarves that go to higher levels. Do your franken-dwarves have any animations? Even if they don't is it ok if i use them in my addon? Where can i find individual pictures to use?

Whoops, sorry. For some reason I missed this post totally. I included the berserker and warrior lvl 4s. I also attached lvl 0 blacksmith unit. I assume they are the ones you were referring.

Unfortunately, I really don't like animating stuff. So, no. No animations. And yes, feel free to use them. Just remember to mention my username and give me a hint what is the content so I can check it out.

If you ask really nice I might give a try on some new units but at the moment I have promised to do stuff for Dugi and Heindal. Yet, I haven't had time to do those. And I would like to do my own campaign stuff too ;)

Thank you! I am making an era called Reign of The Lords.

Re: SFault's (franken) art - Large bird

Postby SFault » March 1st, 2017, 6:46 am

I was starting to make a phoenix unit, so I ended up with a large bird first. My plan is to actually animate the flight and then add that cool fire animation.

What kind of attacks the unit should have? 1) beak, 2) claws or 3) fire breath? Maybe even 4) fiery wing smack?

If that bird likes mischief, how about fecal bomb? The overlay image is pasted on the head of the victim.

I think that it is hard to make a better phoenix than that -

viewtopic.php?f=23&t=23288&start=60#p329682

I saw it included in some era, but forgot in which.

oh, damn. That's great. Thanks for pointing that out.

Maybe I'll just settle with the large bird and move on. Perhaps to that poop-overlay...

Some new units here. Hope you enjoy.

Little spider and big spider.
Dark elf. My plan is to make a full group of various type. I guess this is like a basic warrior. Could be on level 2.
Void monster.
Goblin archer and master archer. Maybe level 2.
Silverback wolf rider. Or something like that.
Some low level necromancer.
Lich king.
Low level ghost.
Another low level necromancer. Maybe level 2.
Swamp thing.
Vampire tree.

Really? Is it a campaign? What is it called?

And thanks for the feedback, both of you.

Vengeance of a Drake: an RPG. It still has as way to go before I put it on the server, but there's a wip version linked in my signature.
