The major, major point i'd make: unless the thing in question is actually straight, like a weapon haft, you should very very rarely use dead-straight lines more than around 3 pixels long. They look odd, because things in real life generally aren't dead straight. Of particular note: the l3's cloak edges, and all the helm brims.

That's awesome. :shock: Ignore this next thing if this is because of my weird eyes: Is the shield like... glued... to his stomach? I mean, it's so close to him, I think. Might be just be, though.

I agree about the shield - I think it might just need a drop shadow? Right now, it just flows into his armor.

ahhhhh i se what you mean, yes ill try and fix that. I just realised, the part thats blending in had a grey outline instead of black and grey is the armor.

The spearman is looking better, but you need to make sure that the curves match at the top and bottom of the shield =)

Specifically that the top curves in the same way as the bottom.

actually thats a good point i changed the top curve cus i had really thick black lines but yer ill try and fix it.
