Speaking of tentacles... this would be some good practice: create a Lovecraftian-style monster. Don't forget to include the Non-Euclidean geometry. (Hint: the main monster in "The Dunwitch Horror" is invisible, so you don't actually need to make a sprite...)

Though, on a serious note, do you intend to make the sprites or just the stats? If you're merely giving new stats to old sprites on request, why do you need to get ideas from a thread?

He's way too weak. You should also give him Deep Swimmer and Dayfade.

you need to add shading to stop it from looking flat. try using colour blend instead of recolouring by hand to change it from green to purple and add the polka dots in with shading. arms and legs need muscles.'

No, not better. It's gotten worse every time. Only the first one was passable, before you tried to recolor it. You removed all the shading when you recolored it and now attempted to reshade it in a different manner. Trust me, shading is almost everything at that scale. When you recolor something you have to shift the multiple original colors to different shades that are similar in relationship to each other that the original shades were. If you really want practice, go back to the original sprite and try again to recolor it. Also, the legs are way too small and straight. A spearman, with a much smaller head, has bigger legs.

And this should be moved to Art Workshop if you want to get comments on your sprites... otherwise people won't be able to find it.
