in the hopeless search for someone to do it for me, i've made some small edits: the lev 2 and 3 plaincats and howitzer kitband
I'm wondering what should i put on the shield, if anything. Just some painted symbol or maybe some flat sculpture..considering it's a magical shield

hmm couldn't get bothered to alter those kits yet but did a little looking and cutting and drawing on the archer front, it's still missing those tri-part feline legs, but the body fits alrighty..just need the head to fit correctly on it..which one you think is better?

The big head goes better with the big hand.

I didn't have much time to work on this, so there are a few things that are no good (it doesn't really look like a cat for example), but maybe it helps illustrate some issues:

- Use RGB mode, not index mode.
- Use more shades and stay away from pure black. The thing I posted below is wrong on this.
- Use the specific magenta colours (picked from the swatch or from mainline sprites) for team colour. I assumed that the red shield was team colour, not a specific material.
- It also wouldn't hurt to use a 72 x 72 canvas, so that you easily know where the image is going to sit on the hex.

here, been experimenting on some pirate kits
yes they are based on devlings, and the cloaked one will need some less garments..and more piratey ones..and i'm wondering how to make them some tricorn hats and bandanas
any ideas?

I'm sorry that I haven't been offering critique, but I do think they're adorable!

The little ones will probably be very difficult to understand, unless they have grossly oversized hats/guns/etc. Such small sprites would be easier to animate though.

I think the purrers are fine, but maybe you should move the loincloth of #1 a bit to the left, to get rid of the gap.

imo the purrer is the best yet. Top notch. You should aim for that style in the rest of the faction.
