Compare the two. Yours has lost at least one pixel in height, and quite a bit of detail.

You may have added a bit too many details/color, as it now becomes a bit confusing as to what is going on in the sprite, and so I have to look carefully to pick out the details. Like his right arm is not just sort of a blur, and what is around his neck?

Most of the levels you have added are very well executed, especially the assasin line.

These more recent two, the general and ranger, have too much going on. Take out a couple of details, or change the pose so you can see what's going on with them.

Also, is the red on the ranger's sword blood or something? Just curious.
Fear me! For I am higher level than you!

I have this annoying habit of butting into threads that I find interesting and contributing a random picture before leaving and never coming back.

Hope it's not too annoying because this post is the next example.

I looked at the front page mage tree. I was like "I ken maek a lv5 great mage no prblem" and then I made it no problem.

Presenting... The UBER MAGE!!!1!!1!

Although I appreciate people expressing interest in this era and creating possible artwork for it, whether serious or in fun, please do so in a separate thread, preferably in the art workshop forum.

Uh, what's different about it other than you hacked an orc head on to it?

I made a Gryphon Lv 4 based off the Lv 3 version that Zigg posted.

It's more heavily armored. With an iron beak because honestly why didn't they protect the beak since it has to bite through armor so much? (blah blah the gryphon only has slashing with his talons in the game whatever blah blah blah)

Won't be able to work on this much due to holidays. I'll only be able to do sketches on paper.
