Experimenting with palettes from other people! The characters are wesnoth-sized I believe but the equipment certainly isn't.

Cheap-hax of Jetrel's new shyde into an autumn-oriented aesthetic without any TC. Who knows, might be useful as a campaign-specific unit?

Your ever-changing avatars eventually drove me here. This place really swarms with creativity ! Rarely have I seen such a concentration of awesomeness. Cheers ! 8)

And yes, the autumn-style would definitely fit with the elven lords portraits of tRoW. :)

Nice. Are these game concepts, or something you do for your own leisure ?

Wow, every time there's something better to see, nice mockup. Your stuff is inspiring.

High praise from the both of you! In response to LordBob, I just do this stuff for fun and practice, really. Spriting's applications these days are mostly in the realm of videogames, and mockups are basically the equivalent to a study for videogames.

I've sort of been on... a mechanization binge, taking existing characters and turning them into mechas.

I totally recognized the two bottom-left sprites as Quote and Curly before I even noticed the little original images below them.

So did I! (On a technical note Quote & Curly are robots already...)

The styles on Q&C and the Doc look different too, mainly because the doc has a way high contrast in comparison.

I'm a bit jelly of you Zerovirus. You keep getting bigger and much better sprites, while I've gone into making okay tiny little things. And (because I lurked forever) I know we started about the same time with the general quality. Congrats on being so pro! I look forward to giving you more praise in the future.
