Re: Zerovirus's Art
Nah I'm not going to keep any of this, in fact I am going to delete all traces of my existence from the internet within the next hour. It will be gone. Forever. Save all my art so that you can remember what glory looks like, for what once was will be no longer and the sands of time erase all things.BioHazardX wrote:Zerovirus you are damn good! I like very much your works, keep them.

And just to make sure that this isn't a pointless post, I did a challenge entry for the Pixeljoint challenge yesterday:

Re: Zerovirus's Art
Maybe a hero unit for somebody or other's campaign. Could be a normal mage, could be a necromancer, could be a warlock living in the wilderness- who knows?

Re: Zerovirus's Art
Looks great! Our campaign is in need of sprites for 3 necromancer brothers as bosses, and this'll depict one of them nicely! Would this sprite happen to have 2 brothers as well in the future? Thanks for the sprite!

But that's a female necromancer lol
The design reminds me a lot of the traditional chinese costumes though.

Welcome back to Zerovirus Shows Everyone How He Does Pixelart Through Big Annotated Sequential Images!
This time, I'm going to show you guys the underlying mechanisms of my impeccable mind when I design a block. I may or may not be talking out of my ass; my suggestions may or may not be super-specific to my own art style alone anyways, since I didn't actually bother to consult any mainline sprites for this or anything.

Re: Zerovirus's Art
I don't see anything wrong with the tail on either one of those, but the stinger faces the wrong way. Also, scorpions are arachnids, so they have eight legs plus pincers. (You would have more room if you made the pincers attach to the mouth where real ones do.)homunculus wrote:the tail of your your scorpion looks very strange.

Re: Zerovirus's Art
To be fair, the current baseframe only has 3 legs as well; I didn't really bother to redesign it, I just redrew it in my style. Also, I think one of the reasons why I made the claws so far apart was because of the portrait for the scorpion, which had a pretty imposingly wide set of claws almost befitting a lobster, really.

Re: ITS TIME FOR FRANKENSPRITES
why am I horribly tempted to put the bottom red head, on the 4th chest in the left column, with the 3rd legs in the 3rd column, and the staff with the flower on it?
Uhhh nevermind that. But nicely done!!
