would work, can be coded, would be overpowered depending on xp settings of a particular game (and some particular units which already need very little to level)

what if units adjacent to them gain extra xp per kill? more then one though. how bout 4 bonus xp per kill made adjacent to someone with that ability?

Alright then, we'll go with Wesfreak's idea then.

Hivemind
These units lead the Steelhive's data network and can therefore relegate more combat knowledge through the matrix to nearby units. All nearby units gain 4 extra XP for each level of the enemy killed; Lv0s grant 8 XP.

don't give me any credit. i ripped it off from era of strife. the difference is that there it doesn't work and is for 1 xp.

Dang, that turtle and this single frame took me 3 hours to make. Pixeling is exhaustive.

nice. any particular reason that only the lvl 3 version has a neck? cause i think the lvl 2 should probably have one too.

Well, they're not finalized. Personally I think that the 3rd one looks like crap and I'll probably update or redo it sometime in the near future.

And, not to be a prick, but your faction really really needs a good artist. I might volunteer my services if I have time; I already promised Thunderstone to do the Dwarves after Steelhive.

You could use the huge one with wings that you drew up as the 4th one, and the current 4'th one as the 3rd.
