but a warg looks much better if his attack is wild and bestial

should i remove the white border in the swing attack?? but it still looks better than boring-white
(and i know that there is a white border in the shadow and some "lost" pixels, i saw it when i post it)

As to the new version, I don't really understand why it strikes twice. I hope I'm not flaming too much.
Are you saying that the white outline on the swing is intentional? If you're interested, there is some sort of standard for motion blurs in mainline Wesnoth... but I don't know exactly what it is.

Yes, it should make sense. Doing stuff that arbitrarily doesn't will look bad.
This animation looks OK, but you need to move his feet a lot more. Bear in mind that when it is used in the game, it will move most of the way into the next hex. Having the feet stay more or less still will look silly.
EDIT: also:Creating_Shadows_Under_Units. Read, learn, apply to your work =)

i never worked with animated gifs. i downloaded a special programm to do it. (because i was to lazy to scan my photoshop for this function and in a forum i readed that you need Adobe Image Ready, but i dont have this Adobe Image Ready, i have only a device blabla and a image stock bla bla)

JW can i use this picture for my avatar?
to improve the warg i must completly re-draw 4 frames. maybe i will do it later, if i create for all the wargs all idle, attakc, def, die animations
and i improve the moon blade, i mean this warg is awesome, but his blade looks like a huge kitchen kniffe. but it it must be a MOON BLADE. so i make it more "winding".
and i think he should have a attack which reminds on a half moon.
and! because it is a magical strike there must be a cool blur. maybe the points are to big.
but it looks still better than the magic strike of the dwarf-runemaster the animation is not ready, the last 2 frames are missing. and shadows

Here's something i started a while back but only just got around to finishing. I don't like how the current high level vampires look, so i tried to make a better Methusalem.

Team Colouring, the colours on a sprite that depend on the units team colour, i had a problem with understanding that too
now if you don't mind your question was very offtopic (didnt you notice 20 pages inbetween?) and we should go back to it (the topic that is)
kudos on the methusalem the original one looked nearly identical with the sire model, now it should stand out more

Methusalem is lvl 4? I think. 3 or 4, high level. Old graphic was nice but didnt cut it like the one you have there neoskel. Very cool.

My one big issue with that sprite is that it's tiny for its level. Usually, units get bigger as they level up which has a practical purpose, too: it's easier to draw cool details on a larger sprite...Neoskel wrote:Here's something i started a while back but only just got around to finishing. It's shorter than the skeleton in your avatar, for instance.
