How do you get individual images from frankenpacks?

This is a bit embarrasing,but how?

Select the image part you want, copy it, and paste it into your own creation. Position to fit. Lather, rinse, and repeat as necessary. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

I use gimp,how do you select images?

Hotkey F to freehand select. Be sure to do it exactly around the edge of the part.

Because most, if not all, of the Frankenpacks have a transparent background, you can also use the rectangular select found in the upper left hand side of the toolbar.

Ah, fair enough. All the ones i've seen have white b/gs...
