Indeed.

In fact, i think it merits some constructive crit.

The mounted lord's torso is facing camera, while the unit is facing downright. Using a torso from a unit facing the same way as the horse would be a good idea. Ditto for the shield.

The foot-unit's shield could do with covering more of his body, currently there's no arm supporting it, and it's actually behind his shoulderpad. Also, the bottom of the lance is cut off. but yeah, your frankensteining is improving.

You put his right leg on the image after you put the shield on. So now it looks like his shield is behind is leg but in front of his torso. :/

Better, except that his shield's chopping his leg off.

You should be careful with your layers when making units in this way, to avoid problems with things which should be on top of each other being underneath and vice versa.

No it isn't. You can rearrange the z-order of layers in the layer palette.

Could someone please explain to Tom how to rearrange the z-order of his layers?

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Photoshop, or I'd do it myself...

But what will be the point?

He only ignores the critics. He seems like he doesn't care, after looking the others threads of Tom, he reminds me a lot to old danny_c.

Anyway, there are a lot of tutorials of Photoshop, also complete web pages only dedicated to how you can learn Photoshop, if you Tom, are interested on learning just google it.

Ok I just made my first attempt at non-frankenstein art. It's just a sword and probably not all that good.
