How do I get the software I need to create units? Will somebody please tell me or give me a link?

I use Gimp- it's like Photoshop, but free and less user friendly

i just downloaded JDraw and i am using PowerArchiver 2007 to unzip it. i am not smart enough with computers to figure out how to unzip it. any help will be gratefully accepted.

what format is jdraw compressed in? is it a .zip or a .tar.gz or what?

It's a jar, which is basically a bunch of Java classes in a zip file. You're not meant to unzip it, you're meant to run the jar directly using Java.

Thanks Konrad. my computer recognizes the file as a .gz file.

then I'd use something like Winrar or 7zip to open it...

hm... I can try to link you directly to the EXE download for the 40 day trial of winrar (it still works after 40 days, it just keeps giving you an annoying popup when you start it up)
