The succubus looks like it's stabbing itself in the head. The legs look really skinny and the tail is hard seems like it doesn't match on the opposite sides of her legs.

Gorgon looks great though. I hope you don't change it any more. :p

To me it looks like the tail isn't flowing naturally in response to gravity. ie. She'd have to be expending effort to hold it rigid at that height.

The style is markedly different between the two units. The Succubus looks like a 3D model.

Given the surrounding mythology it would be cool if the succubus' pose could be more sensual.

lol...I meant to write "the tail is hard see how it connects." I totally didn't write any of those words!!! Sorry, lol. I think I had a phone call distract me as I was typing.

The second try is a lot better. One thing though, her right blade (on our left) doesn't look straight.

tail is like an arm to her, like how monkeys can curl up their tail and keep it there. she'll have a sensual ranged attack frame, she's a bit of a fighter the rest of the time, besides she's dressed kinky enough lol

I planned for the lvl2 to have a more posed pose.

There's something about how the sprites both seem to have gigantic eyes that make them seem slightly comical. Maybe shift the gorgon's eyes a little higher; they seem a little low right now.

As for the succubus, irrevenant is right. The succubus seems like a 3d model compared to the gorgon. I don't mind the tail so much, but it seems as though its thickness isn't consistent. It also seems to get in the way of the legs. I think if you made the succubus stand less stiffly (that's the word I'm thinking of!) and lean back on her legs a little (give her sort of a strutting pose), it'll give you the freedom to "show a little leg." That, and some more shading on the blades. They stick out like a sore thumb.

just a quick hack to point some things out.

1. The legs were really off. I think this was as to tell what was the tail, but that can be done by means of tonal values.

2. The arm loks too thin because you used to dark a color to outline the arms. It mixes with the color of the wings.

3. It was a bit too thin, the head, and body

...please remember that "IT'S" ALWAYS MEANS "IT IS" and "ITS" IS WHAT YOU USE TO INDICATE POSSESSION BY "IT".--scott

this goes for they're/their/there as well

Hello,

Great work
For me the succubus looked better before last changes.
Why do you dress it so much ? I tried to modify ratio waist/hip for mor sensuality. First try on a work of somebody else. May I ?

Ok with pb of eyes of both images

Very good work!!

For the succubus maybe the color of the skin could be more like human skin (except for wings and tails).
A fast search in google show me all succubus like normal women but with red or black wings and tail. (And they look very nice :p)

This are the best for me, hope it helps:

most of the demons dont look evil enough, if i had a scanner i could show some pretty cool pencil drawings that could be used for portraits or for ideas.

I dont know, i think some demons, especially imps, look better if they are more comical to begin with, and then the bigger and nasty they get, the more evil they become.
