That's pretty darn cool.

If the two little dots in the mouth are meant to be teeth they could use a little refining.

And I'd suggest trying the blade without so harsh an outline (it looks good on the imp itself though).

But nice work!

I agree with you on the teeth thing, but its size is only one pixel... suggestions on how to fix it? :?

Little imp went to the dentist...
first head is original, last one is better?

demon (lvl1)and blade demon (lvl2) evolved from imps (lvl0)

So... yeah, suggestions, criticisms, feedbacks and ideas welcome.
I'd like to know if these look ok before doing the movements and the level 3 blade demon.

The imp is very cute. I'm not sure I'd want to stick a sword for him.

When it comes to the demon - I'm afraid that the bright red skin becomes a little monochromatic here. Do you think you could add some form of shading to add a little detail to it? Tattoos, tatters of clothing, etc etc - something to break up the red a little?

Thank, I'll try adding some more rags for the lvl 1 demon, and some arm guards for the blade demon...

Also... here's a hell hound as well as imp-defend. Suggestions welcome as always.

P.S. I saved over goblin knight while working on the hell hound X_X, can anyone point to me a link to that image or post one here? Prefer not reinstalling if i don't have to :?

awesome cerberos.

but imho the imp is too large to be an imp. i always imagined imps as small funny little tricksters.

I'm very impressed by your hell-hound - it's definitely a cut above the Imp and Demon. I suspect that this is because your shading technique works better for fur than it does for skin.

The only suggestion for improvement I might offer is on the black outlines alone the back and tail of the dog - while not a major issue, a little anti-aliasing there would lick this image into tip-top shape.

This stuff shows definite promise! :D

fixed the hell hound's black outline a bit, tried to cover up some red skin for demon and blade demon, new unit slayer demon.

Code: Select all

      demon-> frost demon->something
              blade demon->slayer demon
Imp-> fiend->something->something->something
      something->something else
...as for the imp... it's the size of a goblin (made from goblin) In that sense I think it's probably ok, this imp is just slightly chubbier than your average goblin, and that might be what made it look a little bigger :P

So far, I think the Hell Hound looks the best.

The others are just a little too cute for demons and/or imps, in my opinion.

But the Hell Hound is great.

Just gorgeous. Wesnoth needs more darker touch. Definitely.

Would it be possible in WML if the hell hound had 3 attacks... each of them with a different head? :twisted: It means there would be different animation for first, second and third attack. Or maybe just three animations, and a random one would be used (that way, the total number of attacks could be different from 3).

Hmm. Is it possible in Wesnoth for multiple attacks to each be of different damage types? :twisted:
