The second does not really look mechanical. Don't know how to fix that though.

But I like that idea.

Another idea by me is to make a dwarf riding on a mechanical horse (olr another animal).
First read, then think. Read again, think again. And then post!

I thought the same, he also requires a few pixels more shade in the right places and a shadow. Does anyone else have any ideas of how to make him more mechanical?

Thank you for the idea of the horse but i already have all my units worked out :)

Question:

When i edit a post does it come up as a new post being made for other people looking at the board? (Ie. can people tell it's been edited?)

Nope. It's usually a good solution to edit stuff into the first post, and write a separate post mentioning that you added to the first post.

He's not -too- different from the first. But then again i don't expect them to be, he mainly has a bigger gun, i moved his stance abit nearer too not that it's noticable.

L3 will be different though.

Good start but give the parts more contrast (add a more defined ligth source) dont be afraid of using darker colours in some parts (even more in metal parts)

 Thats so much better! I knew i needed more shadow, but even when i was going to redo it i dont think i would of had the guts to do it to such a degree. *Memorises this tip for future reference*

As a point of interest i was going to redesign the helmet for the Clockwork General anyway, i find that one a bit....rubbish. I'll post the new one, taking into account the shading and the new helmet in a minute or two.

No, just make him a bit larger than the lvl 2. If you want a hand I could help a newbie out.
Fear me! For I am higher level than you!
