How to add side?

How to add completly new side during multiplayer game?
Let's say game is started with 2 sides and now I want spawn enemies for both sides. But third side was not definied in scenario tags before it started.

You could make a side start with no units and then spawn some based on an event. From the player's perspective this looks a lot like adding a new side.
Currently writing The Goblin Rebellion, an sp campaign for version 1.12 and up.

You can fiddle with the side visibility so the player does not see the empty side at all until you're ready to expose it. See [modify_side]hidden=yes|no. See, in the current master, The South Guard, scenario 07A "Into the Depths" for some examples.
I forked real life and now I'm getting merge conflicts.
