Custom Units-How to?

Post by Lord_Kata »

I am currently working on an undead campaign, and it's been going smoothly.

I then decided to add a custom unit to recruit. So I created its code in a folder called 'units' and I have its sprites all done. So the unit is put together. I then added the name 'Dead Rider' to the possible recruit list, and then my recruit list won't pop up when I hit 'Ctr+r' the recruit box doesn't pop up, and then when I hit 'end turn' it pops up and error message.

So my question is, how do I get my leader to recruit my custom unit? All help appreciated.

Sounds like most likely you forgot to include the unit .cfg's (which you most likely want to do in your _main.cfg). Look for [+units] in other campaigns' _main.cfg's for an example.
