noautosaves in preferences
Wich line should i add in the game to make appear the "noautosaves" option in the preferences => advanced menu ?
So that I can enable or disable it permanently before starting the game ?

I don't think there is any such line. That's a feature that hasn't been added yet.Yomar wrote:Wich line should i ad in the game to make appear the "noautosaves" option in the preferences => advanced menu ?

Preferences, for versions 1.8.6 and 1.10.3 and 1.11.0 it is line 7, not sure about other versions.

Hmm, interesting. I haven't tried this, but I assume you're referring to {userdata}/preferences (no extension).Ravana wrote:Preferences, for versions 1.8.6 and 1.10.3 and 1.11.0 it is line 7, not sure about other versions.
Re: noautosaves in preferences
Disabling autosaves is not recommended.
Consider if you got disconnected in multiplayer, there would be no way to reload.
Or if you experienced a mysterious crash in singleplayer, there would be no way to file a proper bug report.
It would be better to figure out why you think you need to disable autosaves (e.g. are they taking too long?) and then address that problem instead.

Re: noautosaves in preferences
Autosaves slow down the game, especially in rpg, and I always have a mess on my hd, and disabling them could be usefull when I play alone against AI, or campaigns, I prefer always to save manually, knowing in this way where I was at a certain point, and I also don't like to cheat, but with autosaves the temptation is bigger.
