Umm, so what's the problem? You've commented out the [time_area] so naturally it won't do anything.
I've also heard that you ought not to use spaces between = and the key name, but I don't know if that has any ill effects or not.

commented it out so I can still work with the campaign without getting annoyed by the false underground-time
the spaces had no effext as far as i can remeber from my troubleshooting, but i´ll double test that later.

Re: Strange [time_area] -Problem with Underground
the problem is it's hard to reproduce because editing the file will fix the linebreaks.Korben wrote:commented it out so I can still work with the campaign without getting annoyed by the false underground-time ;)
here's how this particular code looks like: so you got a combination of mac, unix and windows style linebreaks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_break_%28computing%29).
what editor are you using (and what's your OS)?
Re: Strange [time_area] -Problem with Underground
I´m using Mac OS X 10.6.8 and TextEdit (and the error occurs in Wesnoth 1.10.1 if that is important..)
Tidied up the time_area part, still produces the error. Here´s the file:

Korben: same OS, same editor, BfW 1.10.2: I could reproduce your problem. The problem are indeed the linebreaks (which sometimes cause problems like this). The easiest fix: delete the breaks between lines in the [time_area] block, hit <return> and safe -- or you could delete the entire [time_area] block and type it in by hand (rather than copy-pasting it). It's only 5 lines, so it's not that much hardship. I tried both, worked like a charm for me.

I volontier test this, but I can't find the corresponding card (02_Mines.map).

This campaign is by no means finished, but I´ll open a corresponding thread when it´s open for critic. (If I understood you right..)
