Young golem -> mature golem -> ancient golem

young golem -> Magma golem -> molten golem
Hmmm... instead of "mature golem": "Golem"
is enough I think...
For "molten golem", what about: "volcanic golem" ?
deonjo wrote: and more of the atlantean type vehicles.

AV rookie pilot -> AV pilot -> AV master

AV* altantean Vehicle (couldn't think of a better name :P )

maybe a mage line...

summoner -> levitator -> arbiter?

well that's all I have for now. The mage line is SUPER iffy
I think we need scouts and melee units... and for the mage and rangers line:

spiritualist -> summoner -> levitator
spiritualist -> healer -> priest ->(half god)

rangers:

gunner -> infiltrer -> spy
gunner -> striker -> sniper

I was thinking an Animator or Puppet Master line with Leadership or a Leadership-like ability that works only for the constructs.

Animator - 2 - 3
Golem - 2 - 3
Homunculous - 2 - 3
Mimic - 2 - 3
Gargoyle - 2 - 3

That's my idea so far. Sorry I just came up with it. Ideas:
Animator: Leadership, weak melee impact staff, maybe a slow attack as well (ranged?)
Golem: Basically a tougher HI
Homunculous: small, quick, hard to hit creatures with Drain melee
Mimic: appear to be harmless objects (like a treasure chest) but are actually animated creatures. Steadfast + resists.
Gargoyle: Flyer, good resists.

Mock up stats:
Animator
lvl 1
15 cost
28hp
30 xp
Leadership
5 moves
6-3 Impact

Golem
lvl 0
12 cost
16 hp
24 xp
4 moves
7-2 Impact
70 B, 40 C, 40 F, 0 H, 20 I, 60 P

Homunculous
lvl 1
17 cost
26 hp
34 xp
6 moves
4-4 Blade Drain

Mimic
lvl 0
14 cost
26 hp
20 xp
4 moves
Steadfast
5-2 Pierce, Poison (trap)
50 B, 20 C, 20 F, 0 H, 20 I, 40 P

Gargoyle
lvl 1
19 cost
27 hp
37 xp
6 moves
7-3 Blade
50 B, 20 C, 20 F, 0 H, 20 I, 40 P
These are going to need some major overhauling, but there's just what I thought of right now. It took me 10 minutes maybe to write this whole post including time spent thinking.

Seiryu: a gunner line is a good idea. Currently I don't think any units I put had ranged. :? It also makes sense for a gun to be an artifact itself.
Gunner
lvl 1
17 cost
32 hp
38 xp
5 moves
2-2 Impact (Bash)
11-2 Pierce, Ranged
Also, I forgot to put this on the Gargoyle:
Gargoyle
lvl 1
19 cost
27 hp
37 xp
6 moves
7-3 Blade (Claws)
3-2 Impact, Ranged (Cry)
50 B, 20 C, 20 F, 0 H, 20 I, 40 P

Nice... but we should think about the unit tree before... and try to think that Artifact can be understanded: a life which has benn created by something or someone (So creatures summoned are artifact creatures, robots too). So don't try to put creatures which lives by itself or can reproduce itself.

PS: I like the idea of gargoyles... perhaps we can put them stoned in the day :lol: :lol: ... the Animator is a good proposition... but it should have an ability like the zombies (every unit killed by this unit becomes one unit of the side which has killed it. [is it clear?])... And what's a Homunculous?... What role would have a Mimic?

Stricktly speaking a homonculus is a miniature representation of a person. For example you could draw a person proportioned by the amount of brain devoted to the sensation of touch. The representation or "sensory homonculus" would have very large hands because a lot of touch information comes from the hands.

It was also believed, a long time ago, that every sperm had a miniature representation of an adult inside. As a person grew and developed they would come to look like their homonculus. This is of course very wrong. Several games have taken the idea of a little person or creature who could grow to look like someone and added their own spin.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

sounds good to me.

Fresh Golem (?) -> Golem -> Mature Golem
" " " " (?) -> Magma Golem -> Volcanic Golem
" " " " (?) -> Aqua(tic) Golem -> Hydro Golem

Gula(?) -> Gargoyle

Spritualist -> Animator -> Levitator
Spritualist -> Hermit(?) -> Healer

Homunculous -> Floating Hands -> Floating Gaulents
Homunculous -> Floating Hands -> Floating Spears

I was thinking, as the Homoculous grew older, the need for the rest of the body disappeared, and formed just hands. Super huge hands. And they can hold Gauntlets (Melee, smash attack) or spears (melee and range, but weaker pierce attack)

About the gunner line (there is the floating spears, but that doesn't seem enough. Maybe we will give the gargoyles like a fire attack, through their mouth. Remeber the magma golems and aqua golmes have range attack. and probably the "Golem" can throw some rocks around.

Hmmm... we still need more units...

How about for an artifact healer you make some sort of mechanic? He could be part machine, like have prothstetic/robvotic arms and such. I'm thinking his unit tree would look a little like this

Mechapprentice-->Silver Enthusiast--->Metallic repairman
