For those who are interested i updated the .cfgs to v1.2 WML syntax (wesnoth 1.1.5 or greater). They are in the next relase of my Extended Era (v0.6, not yet released).
For better playability, i changed the Enchanteress line ranged damage type from cold to fire.
I thought it would be more interesting to do this with the wizard line, but it does clash with their background.
I also implemented the Cavestalk ability.

About the units stats, here the one i currently use, which are currently unbalanced, especially the fighter that do too much damage for a lvl 1.
It's the one i found except i switched the enchanteresses ranged damage to fire and implemented cavestalk.

You may notice there is a problem with the Noble line that loose firstsrike at lvl 2.
I also fail to see the shield logic : why firstrike and why pierce.
Usually the shield is an impact attack with the slows special, sometime with an high defense_weight value so it is used in most cases for defense (shield damages*defense_weight > sword damages).
Some other point might be improved : Hp transitions like Captain -> Marshall or Sorcerer -> Warlock are a bit extreme, a spear impact makes more damage than a sword impact with the Captain while it's the contrary with the Marshal, and the Shadow and Stalker crossbows are quite fast for crossbow weapons.
I'll probably make some proposals soon so they would be less unbalanced in MP.
