Dragon Riders

Post by FireDrake »

I think there should be a new unit called Dragon Rider. It would be something like a elf riding on the back of a dragon. Does anybody like my idea?

WTF? Is the rider carrying the dragon?

Dragons are already level 4. I don't know how you would even control one. Even with a minor reduction in power (like the gryphon/gryphon rider) it wouldn't be lower than a level 3-equivalent in power.

How about a drake rider? :D

Then the drakes would kill you, although wyvern might work, and then it could even have a poison mellee or poison bite *shrug.
May the drakes bloody kill you all.

Maybe it could be a special unit, like Delfador. You can't recruit someone as Delfador, and that would be all the same with the drake or dragon rider.

Is this any different from the gryphon rider?

my response: it might be, but it sounds a lot cooler. Where are the graphics? :P

i gave it a move v since it is carrying another fully armored unit.
This is also the reason for the 4-6.

4 attacks..One from the bite...One from claws...2 from sword.

4-6 is six attacks, not four.

We're using dragon riders for dark elves. we're calling them lizard riders.

Dark Elf lizard Rider= Death lance 6-2 (charge/pierce); Bite 4-2 (Pierce)

Dark Elf lizard master= death lance 10-2 (charge/pierce); bite 4-3 (blade)
I speak what's on my mind.

Which is why nothing I say makes sense.

May I suggest Wyrm Riders or Wyvern Riders?

Riding a Wyvern would be impractical since they only have two legs.

I don't see the problem, they would land like a big bat, gliding and then closing their wings or fixing themselves to the ground with their nails.

Yeah, but how do you ride one? Astride its neck? Hanging from its tail?
