(EDIT: The post above used to be artisticdude. I'm not talking to myself :P )

Well, sure. You should make me an epic Elvish Marshal lvl 5 sprite. Use that. Yes I am joking.

Haha, using the Elvish Marshal from mainline (like my avatar) should be fine. But that as a lvl 1 unit....

I should have leadership, no? But then again, who would I lead if I had lvl 1 leadership? Suggestion: give me the inspires ability? I'm a sovereign after all.

EDIT: Hey actually can you use the 1.0 Elvish Marshal Sprite? I'll attach it if you need it once I get to my computer.

Count me in. :D

I'd like to be the Red Ulfserker from Era of Magic by Inferno8, but if I can't be that for some reason then I'd go with the default ulfserker. I have attached the sprites and the unit file for the red ulf.

Edit: @artisticdude: Could you fix my name on the list, please? You accidentally spelled it with an "r"
Edit: thanks! :)

Whoops, sorry about that. I subconsciously spell your username that way in my mind, and it slipped into my writing this time. Fixed. :)

I'd like to sign up too. Also, if you haven't guessed, here will be my sprites:

They're basically the Skirmisher sprites from Pre-1.2.

Oh, oh, I wanna be in....Can I?

Also, I guess it should probably have a blade melee attack and a fire melee or ranged, either way... I think it should also have good movility, it's on a horse.... But that's all up to you.

Heh, I guess you could add me too, why not? I'm probably not as ancient or renown as others, but, oh well :P

So, I'll volunteer myself as a pirate (Since I like pirates and am working on the Pirates vs ninjas faction):

As for attacks and stats... I dunno, either make me some basic efficient sword-wielding melee unit, maybe with some good water mobility... or whatever :P

Btw, I thought maybe the spare basic forum users (if there are too many) could be lv0s?
And I thought maybe Golbeeze could have some kind of self-evolving unit through amlas, since he's the creator of Evolving Era? :P Your call, either ways.

In, and in. Thanks for your suggestions as to the movement/attacks/etc. guys, that's the kind of suggestions I'm looking for (alias suggestions based on the sprite and its usage in other add-ons/mainline, not personal preference). :)

Ok artisticdude, count me in. Obviously, I will be an Elvish Hunter from IftU  To make your work simpler, I attached the sprites and the cfg in the zip file.

I'll try it out. I would like to use my avatar.
(PS: I would prefer to be a quick unit with good defenses, like the footpads.)

Expanding Wesnoth

You are an Arch Mage - You're definitely intelligent, but some people would say you spend too much time inside. The power you have learned, however, is simply unmatched.

Cool. :)

Okay, small update. Captain_Wrathbow and I have been working on the technical aspects of the era (making sure all images appear, the data paths are correct, etc.), and everything works in that department. Balancing will come after we have enough people signed up to create a decent faction, with each unit having at least one level up (although three would certainly be preferable, so we're hoping we can reach that goal).

Sounds like fun .. my unit is the Thundergobo, as featured in my UMC campaign.

A Thundergobo is basically a goblin who happened to get his hands on a thunderstick. He has the "Loose Cannon" trait, so he has a 30% chance of misfiring and shooting himself whenever he attacks. And he's also "Swamp Savvy" which gives him slightly better speed and defense in swamp hexes. No custom art (yet), I'm just using the standard goblin spearman sprite for now. See attached WML.

EDIT: Updated 6/19, with frankenart from Elvish_Hunter.
EDIT: Updated 6/21, really minor stuff you probably wouldn't even notice.

Long time ago I've promised myself to make an avatar based on my favorite animated hero - Tap - from the Tip&Tap tales (his copyrighted picture you can find here: http://www.buchtovi.cz/tap.png). Now I have another good reason ;-)
I'd like to sign up to this funny faction as a funny dog (may be lvl zero). which can be upgraded to any wolf-based unit.

Can we have a WML Wizard with some really outlandish special ability? :D I'm not yet sure what that would be, but I'll try to think of something wild yet not grossly unbalanced.
