Artisticdude is currently sorting out issues with his Internet connection, and I just got back from a week-long vacation, so it's been a bit quiet lately, but hopefully things will get moving again shortly.

Expect a beta version uploaded to the add-on server sometime in the next two weeks. Progress is slow, people... and my internet is even slower. :annoyed:

I've got 4 or five lines more or less completely balanced now (complete= good enough to release on the add-on server for further testing). After I release it on the add-on server, I will have to turn over the development of the era over to Captain_Wrathbow and Elvish_Sovereign, since my extremely-wea-internet-connection-that-only-works-at-night prohibits me from collaborating very much, and I'm bogged down with RL activities. :(

On a happier note (happy in some regards, sad in regard to this project), a fair amount my Wesnoth time is also taken up by the animation of the Merfolk Warrior for mainline. :D

Thankfully, my Internet connection has improved greatly recently, so I should be a lot more active now, both on the forums and IRC. :D

Things are coming along fine as far as the era is concerned, expect the first release next week. 8)

Sorry guys, the release has been delayed for a few days by RL circumstances. As soon as I can find time I'll upload it to the server. But as you can see in my signature, I'm rather busy this weekend, and school (and all the introductory stuff that goes along with the start of the school year) starts up on monday.

Another bit of news: once 1.0 comes out, it will go into the Corrdinated Wesnoth UMC SVN Repository. artisticdude and I will be managing it for now (and Captain_Wrathbow, if you can install svn). You then will be able to follow our development of the era, and make patches if you want to suggest something :)

Which reminds me, artisticdude, I have an interesting piece of code you might want to look at...

Unfortunately, my ability to contribute may be limited, since I am currently unable to use SVN. But I'll still be supporting this project and helping out with whatever I can. Especially creating unit files if a second faction is added...
