Re: 18th Century Warfare Era 4.3.9(Final Version)

Post by Pato »

Case 2 contradicts with case 3

Here not only you can be attacked by 3 naval units can attack the leader.

Assuming i move my leader after recruiting, it would likely end up in water anyway, being prey to enemy ships if i play carelessly, also, quoting yourself
You can bombard the castle on the shore and take your leader there and recruit units.
Assuming i need to take the recruiting point by bombarding it first, that means i have naval support to block enemies from attacking the leader with ships

and i am not mad, maybe i gave that impression with my "give up", but i give up, i wont continue with this, it's a waste of time for both of us, but no need to think that i am angry or something like that

Try to put a little thought and understand before getting mad. - this was pretty rude, and slightly offensive, i didn't say you don't think enough and i didn't say you could not understand what i mean, and i will stop posting here before this behavior deteriorates

Good Luck, live long and prosper, may the force be with you, etc etc etc.

What I am pointing out is that you will always be vunerable from one side. And it can happen that your enemy destroys your navy and blockades your leader. And then even if you'd be protected from land attacks, you'd be more vulnerable to sea attacks. And just because I do not want to make a change you want, I automatically become someone who is not "open to suggestions".

Released 4.4.0. No further versions, unless a bug is found.

I just played a few turns on the Europe map 1.7.11
I need to figure out everything before I get too far. Nice job, lots of options.
You spelled infantryman as infatryman but that's all so far.

I love your Era. :D
Can you make more Maps for the Era? And a 3rd faction, like pirats or preußens army?

Fixed. Re-download the era.

Probably not, as I've said before it's not like you need the era maker to make a map.
And the era used to have pirates, but amphibious units cause bugs and problems with animations. And well, the purpose of era was warfare, not pirates adventures in the caribbean anyway.

I was thinking of making a campaign, like the French Revolution or the American Revolutionary War, but I'm tired and soon I'll be busy with college. If anyone wants to grab the era and make a campaign using you are welcome to do it though.

Sorry, hopefully I did not catch the wrong thread but: How do I take my units across the sea? Can they be shipped?

You can move your leader across the sea and recruit at the other side.

Changed the main post and made look a little better, and I added some pictures of the era for those who want to see it before downloading it.

I really don't understand why people like to link thumbnails to annoying image hoster display pages, instead of directly to the file, like
