Dwarves

I prefer to positive critiques.... different name for the same thing.
You like gold? you don't care about Kings or wizards? You hate elves? then be a Griffoon Lad
They look exactly like the one I showed you and you said: "no that's a dwarf in blue clothes..."
In case you don't remember it's right here.

I think what gotrek is saying is that you need to create something more unique in order to get people attracted to your faction. Though your dwarves look different from the ones in default, they still dont add anything unique to a new dwarf faction. Below is a very quick sprite i did, yes i know he's too big, but it gives you an idea as to what could make your faction that little bit special from any other dwarf faction.Mirion147 wrote:But that was a regular dwarf...Like with an axe and armor and stuff...this one has no armor and no axe...And when i saw your dwarf I didnt have much time so I only glanced at it... In other words what I said was wrong
NOTE: please dont judge my artistic skills on this little moffo lol, i really didnt spend long on him.
oh and yes the orange mohawk is from warhammer, all credit goes to gamesworkshop blah blah

Quietus is correct - ideally a new faction will have completely new, scratch drawn sprites. But if you're not a spriter, this is probably not feasible, so placeholders such as those you've posted are useful - you're far more likely to interest artists in your project if you have a project which is either feature-complete or close to it and/or you show signs of not wandering off halfway through.

The Guard disagrees with you =P As do all the Goblin infantry. Care to test their mettle?

All that has been said above, was already said 5 pages ago..it seems you only "glance" most of the topic... No good coming, if you fdon't listen (actually read) what we say.dwarf I didnt have much time so I only glanced at it
That Slayer looks great by the way. He lacks an axe.... If he had an axe I'd have a new avatar...
Spears don't go with dwarfs, doesn't match them I think.
