New Faction!

Post by Evolution725 »

*bum bum BUM!* I present, the AGRIANS!
They are an ancient human-type faction which will be part of my Ancients Era*. Anyway I am willing to do the graphics *MOSTLY MYSELF* but any help would be appreciated ;) Anyway I already have about ten images and the unit tree, stats coming soon!

Code: Select all

Clubman->Axeman->Warrior

Archer->Ranger->Sharpshooter
------->Quickbow->Horse Archer
------->Crossbowman->Arbalest

Outpost->Vangaurd->Advance Rider

Clairvoyant->Diviner->Shaman
------------>Conjurer->Enchanter->Sorcerer

Falchioner->Epeeist->Sabrer
----------->Gladiator

Watchman->Gaurd->Sentinel

Baron->Monarch->Emperor

Peasant->Militia
-------->Slinger
Yes I know it's big, that's pretty much the point...

*The Ancients Era will be -somewhat- similar to the imperial era in the sense that it will take place thousands of years befote haldric. It will include a huge variation of most of the main basic factions, and a few altogether new ones :)

Your concept seems okay, you've got ideas, you say you've got art. This faction will take ya a lot of work, but good luck. I want to see that art though.

I'll upload the art once I've finished some more of it...

Hehe, everyone seems to be saying good luck but no one seems to be giving any opinions :) Anyway I expect a release in early '07 at the earliest, but I'm patient ;)

You shall have comments, when you will have some art.
I have seen too many trees, and yet I'm not as experienced forum member as some. And if I am to comment on tree, then I simply say: typical.

What's a falchioner? It's the only unit in the tree whose purpose I can't guess. Is it just a misspelling of falconeer? or something different?

And yes, the tree is a bit typical, except for the high branching of the archer and that falchioner. Once again, hoping the art is good.

Well, mainly I have no comments because you have posted mainly no content.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Well considering that they were made in a couple of hours and that they are just meant to give you an example of what the units WILL look like when finished I think they're not that bad...

And everyone remembers your first avatar, DM.

I also did cut/paste. That gives some insight into the process. If you will persist deeper, you will find that you can draw your own unit from scratch.
