bug report

Post by zharmad »

Um, using version pre20:
The human ranger was removed, right? Well, the trapper still has the entry allowing it to level into human ranger (lvl3) - which causes an error when it levels.

It looks the Ranger id was changed from "Human Ranger" to "Outlaw Ranger"
I'll fix it.
Thanks for the report.

I found that Aragwaithi are amazing against the others factions EXCEPT:

Loyalists and and Dark Elves. They destroy Aragwaithi with sheer durability.

I mean: a mage and a spearman destroyed my full HP level three swordsman 11-5 atk in one round!

Question:

Could it be possible to add the "Lavina Legion" from the "Imperial Era" ?
I like these guys but can´t game often with them, because most players use "Extended Area".

Well, I don't know what Noyga would think of this idea, but I suspect that there would be some problems with it. For example, over in the Imperial Era we use some alternate damage types that are not used in either mainstream Wesnoth or the Extended Era.

Hello. As I got instructions Wesnoth doesn't need any new creatures and I would like to make some.

I've got tip to help some of the Faction\Era makers , so I picked this one.

Could I help you with any new creatures ?

I've got my topic in Art Workshop called HELLO! .:Wesnoth Modding:.
Whatever...

Hello so we see again. :)

This will help you to get an overview.

(Includes mainline, EE, Imperial,...)

The EE still need a lv 2 variation for the Dwarvish Thunderguard.
That uses a gun that throws flames instead of shells.
I made one in the past but I'm not happy with it. Though it had some other issues.

Perhaps something better than this.
I made it but I'm not entirely happy with it.

To be fair.
Spacenoth (ScFi setting)and Imperial Era (Fantasy) are in dire need for help too. I'm pretty sure they would appreciate your skills too. If you get bored around here. :)

Heh, hello again too.

Hmm. I gave a try about the dwarf. Here you go. I'm not satisfied with it. Make fantastic stuff is really different than make realistic weapons.

I will have to get used to.

Over on the IE forums we are always in need of artists. We have two more eras planned in addition to the Imperial Era, and each era will have 7 or 8 factions.

Currently, these guys definitely need new art:

Kedari
Ainsarii

Both these factions are Arabian-themed, one good (Kedari) and the other evil (Ainsarii). They already have some art, but Turin isn't satisfied with it.

Sorry, I have not the power of merging threads. I guess only admins can do it.

But IMHO, you should post your art contribs to EE in its own Extended Era artwork thread to keep this one clean, for gameplay issues and else, not art-related. :)

Actually, this image looks like a candidate for the more-or-less defunct Era of Myths; specifically, the probably never-to-be-finished Abominations.

What he said. The biggest problem with your style at the moment are this black lines within the sprite to differentiate the different color areas. Wesnoth uses shades to differentiate them.
