Drake Clasher
Ha ha!
As you may or may not remember, I started this portrait two or three months ago. As is often the way, school and similar meatspace concerns interfered, and it's simply been that long since I had the time and energy necessary to work on this.
But! At last, I consider this portrait of the Drake Clasher reasonably complete, and submit it for your enjoyment and commentary:

Just when I thought Jormugandr was dead... this appears.
Awesome work, as always.

And apparently in the interim, he's improved his artistic skills by a notable amount, hmmm....

Yeah. I agree with this, though the rest of the picture looks awesome.Boucman wrote:maybe (I don't trust my own artistic jugement that much) add some small soft scales on the underside of the tail rather than the slimy aspect it has right now
Jormungadr: Touch up the scales on the bottom of that tail, and I'll commit this thing. It's not that it's unfit for addition right now - it would be quite fine to add it (because it's damn good), I just figure that it's an easy tweak to make, and that I'd rather not have two copies in the repository, or something like that.
If you don't get around to doing that within a week, I'll just commit it with my own edit.
Und mad thanks, j0. You rule, as always. =) Looking forward to more of these...

Thank you, all.
Jetryl: A significant part of any improvement you see is on account of my having a proper drawing pad (for which I also owe you guys thanks). Pressure sensitivity makes shading so much easier...
I definitely agree with adding some texture to the tail. A quick enough edit, so I have done so:
