Description rules, it`s funny! So what`s the "official" opinion on this? Will it go in-game? Northeners could use more branches in their unit tree..

Getting a unit accepted is usually a long and painful process. (This should be recognized by ALL unit designers, not just you.)
Although i don't have any say in whether this gets in (AFAIK), i think it would be a good addition. Just keep bugging those who do!

Yep. It does help if you can get someone in charge of one of the official campaigns to decide the unit is so cool that they want to include it in their campaign...or, failing that, at least some campaign where the devs can see it in action...turin wrote:Getting a unit accepted is usually a long and painful process. If you decide you want it in EI, that could influence the decision, methinks...turin wrote:Although i don't have any say in whether this gets in (AFAIK),
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.
I would like to see this in action, but i have no use for it in EI, outside of just having another orcish unit. Now, if i were benji, i could make an actual case for this unit...

Ug, any suggestions for various poses Jetryl? My biggest problem is trying to achieve a good looking animation with the flag.
In reality, I would need about 8 frames to accurately depict a swishy flag, and unfortunately by then it would be getting to the limit of what I could actually draw. Not to mention the fact that the leadership animation (which would be the most logical showcase for swishyness) can only use one frame.
Even a stick figure 'hint' of what you had in mind would be very helpful.
BTW: I don't expect this unit to get into the game. I think there is a case for it, and I would personally find it very satisfying, but I don't presume to 'expect' it =]

Note that we can now have different attack animations for different directions, so it would be preferrable if you would not have the spear going due east. Instead, have one animation set where it goes northeast, another where it goes southeast. (And, if you feel like it, ones for when it goes due north and due south).

Goblin Rouser added to the game
Hi,
the Goblin Rouser was added as a branch to the Goblin Spearman to help the Northerners fight against Drakes.
I assume some art improvements and additional animations would be nice, cheers.
