REQUEST - New images for orcish crossbowman

That would be excellent for shooting goblins. And by "shooting goblins", I don't mean goblins as targets; I mean as ammunition.Eternal wrote:Why bother with bows when you can have a small, portable hand-ballista?

Okey-dokey; time to resurrect this project.
These are the final frames for the crossbowman/slurbow:
I'm going to start producing the current frameset for the orcish crossbowman - I'd ask that eternal/zhukov work on providing north-facing frames for this guy. I'd at least like to get directional ranged frames, because it just looks bizarre when he faces to the south, and fires to the north, right now; but since standing frames in the directions are a good start for attacking frames, we may as well provide both. When the current frameset is finished, this will go in; additional frames can be added after that.
So to start the ball rolling, here's a sword standing frame. A side note is that, in 1.3.2, the way units now work is that (if they have attacks in both melee/ranged), they have a standing frame for each. The one with their primary weapon is normally used, but when they're in fights with their off-weapon, that weapon stays visually wielded while fighting.

Actually, I've finished replacing all of the frames we currently have for the crossbowman - I'd really like us to have directional frames, but for now, I'm getting the old images out. These have been committed, and I also have a .zip file of them here (the sword frame is a cheap cleanup of the old one; in the future it would be worth making an actual animation).
