Question about the moderation of addons

Post by frazhuz »

I apologize if I chose the wrong forum for the question. My friends create an addon for the Wesnoth on the basis of a fantasy story. One of the important characters in the story is gay. This is extremely important for this world. Will it be a violation to focus on this? Can we add a rainbow flag, for example? I sorry for my bad english and wrong forum, if I was wrong in this.

Generally speaking, it would not be a problem. However, depending on the exact nature of the content, you may need to keep rules #4 and possibly #5 in mind.

Should we make any warnings about having such a character?

Unless you're going to have parts that are explicitly sexual, I don't think it's required.

Depending on which fantasy story, you might also need to consider rule 2 (you can't use trademarked characters).
