I was wondering if diminishing the troll's regeneration to 4 would unbalance the faction, the same for the wose, maybe the troll's regeneration can be 4 when he is young and increase to 8 when he is adult (lv.2 in Wesnoth terms).
And what about lowering the damage caused by poison from 8 to 4 at least the one caused by the orchish assasin since he has also marksmanship ?

Do you have any supporting arguments-- or better, replays demonstrating an abuse of regeneration to ensure victory? Same question for poison.

Finally, we are very unlikely to introduce poison of differing strengths into the core content. It has been discussed before (as far back as 2004); try searching Ideas forum for the rationale. "Looks like your skills saved us again. Uh, well at least, they saved Soarin's apple pie."
