it seems to happen a lot that when an enemy is facing an annoyign recruit style and losing, they blame the rng and then leave :P .

Place it in:

User/Library/Application Support/Wesnoth_1.7/saves

Then go to load in the main menu and select it, click replay at the bottom, and hit load.

Rigor wrote:thats a big list, i started with 1:

loyalists no pierce

when looking at the game, u realize that the 1 mage was also not necessary. leveled almost every cavalry XD

but what i ACTUALLY wanted to say was, there should be a challenge room where almost impossible combos are tried out when facing a certain fraction, like defeating undeads with a tons of assassins, or using lots of ulfserkers in a dwarfish encounter with drakes. something really hard to win.

btw i enjoy your comments on the games a lot, so DELIVER them
I liked this replay. Those cavalry are death to orcs if used well. And judging by the 20ish kills and 2 losses, I'd say you used them well

A challenge room would definitely be fun. :D

Keep the replays coming, Rigor!

This replay is of Pedigrim (as knalgans) fighting an all grunt/troll recruit by Trollo. It seemed to me that Trollo left when it occured to him that he couldn't win using this stratagy. Why he didn't just add assassins to the mix is something I do not understand.

EDIT: it appears that this is not the replay I thought it was and I cannot find the one I wanted to show. As soon as the responce to this post is edited out I will remove it.

velensk, this is a replay celestials vs vampires, edit ur post and show us the real one.

btw, i just completed a 2v2 clash playing adepts, corpses and bats only - OH DADDY I LOST SO MANY ADEPTS BECAUSE OF ULFSERKERS !!

my ally was not a 100% noob this time, but he somehow disliked the idea of getting his own units in danger, if u know what i mean ;)

but see for yourselves

u know whats better than a BURS ?

a BURS on the ladder !

lets all think of a cool name for this, LURS sounds so stupid, right.

here is one rushing with skeleton archers at daytime towards a loyalists opponent !!!!!!

and dont say it was not full of chances for my opponent.

I just tried to play with orc archers, wolfriders and naga only on Hornshark Island and won. :D
The enemy was Knalgan and he even was extremely lucky at the start of the game, killing a full hp naga on a swamp village with two gryphons for example. He did not take the two right villages which was a big help and I could freely grab his villages while fighting in the center. Somehow this map seems to be very friendly for BURS...

I give you my most strategically sophisticated BURS strategy to date... I call it:

Special thanks to Kard for being such a sport and not calling me names after seeing my initial recruit.

Anyways, the strategy goes as follows:
1) build lots of grunts
2) send them in
3) build more
4) they all die, but you still manage to win

There you have it. Have a nice day, and a merry HODOR to you all...

As the title says, you recruit only two types of units: girls (shamans) and ponies (scouts). I suggest selecting marksman, as leader, it does fit the theme somewhat and then you do have some offense.

I have no replays, but played 20+ games on the server with that. Could defeat one or two decent players, but it's underpowered, of course.

Beats noobs still, usually.

Hehe, unfortunately thats not bizarre ! Orc strategy typically revolves mashing the buttons to recruit grunts and then somehow winning.
Let us all measure in milliyards, that way we can all get along.
