I don't care if I receive credit for this project. But if you insist on giving me/oesis some credit, so be it.

The original name was separate survival. please, keep the current name, I think it's better.

There is one thing you need to do for the survival to work dynamically- make it so that spawns aren't purchased with gold, but rather by points. these points are generated by kills (points gained by the level of the unit +1). part of the flaw of ours was that it took gold to buy spawns.

We were using points, but doing it 1 point per level. I think the 1+1 per level is a good idea. Thanks again.

We are already using points. However, 1+1 per level does sound good so that peasant/woodsman spam isn't completely unfair.
I'm just... a guy...

This is an interesting mod, as this is the first time that anyone can buy creeps vs opponent in a 2v2 SX style (if you don't count DotG, that is).

I played this several times, all with default era, use map settings.
However, the game is somewhat easy, with just 3 lvl 2 AI creeps at turn 22. All 4 players had more than 3 lvl 2 units by then, and more lvl 1 units leveling up. I had about 39 points and I expect my opponents to have roughly the same.

Here are some suggestions to improve the game:
-Add more points per kill. I tried the peasant spam but they were too easy to kill, and was nothing short of free xp.
This way, we could send in more powerful units earlier.
-Reduce the time in between waves (so that players have less time to heal)
OR
-Increase the number/level of incoming creeps per wave
and last but not least:
-add a difficulty level. It would add more replayability value, IMO.

Here's a .cfg of our version of this map from 1.2.x. It's still in that format and you'll have to convert it with wmllint. I figured you might be able to use it. We even had difficulty levels.

(looked at the date of the .zip, august 2007 is when we last edited it.)

3p Rivalry is undergoing a revision. We are in the process of including difficulty levels and adjusting the costs. Unfortunately, we are still unable to fix the problem with all sides winning.
