A fun map to play. I know it can be slightly annoying to have a keep in the top left corner(where the text appears), but your not meant to be there beyond turn one, so thats why Im accepting it and not flipping the map. You can go for either keep and get it turn 3 with any leader, and make it between the two front keeps in 2 turns with any leader.

Not to sure about this one, deciding upon putting it in. The concept is you have to move along the side and continually recruit and grab villages, or send your leader to steal your opponents keep while only able to recruit one unit to grab villages. P1 advantage shouldnt be too big here, but Im not too sure.

This was posted recently, but I think its a good map to play, quick 2v2 which promotes strong teamwork and good communication. Spreading out your forces so each side is strong at day/night is a must.

Just started testing this one, the villages in the center were upon request, to give something for the players to fight over. But if those are removed, none of the villages should be stealable(is that a word?). Its meant for FFA, but can be played 1221 as well.

Any thoughts on any of these maps would be much appreciated. I want to make a map pack with only a couple maps that are actually different than whats out there, and Im trying my best, and probably only marginally succeeding at best. :D

I agree with Unit 12, though. Too much water.

slip n slide and cornered have too much water ford, but other than that those two look fine, I'd need to look at it closer though and won't have the time...

Thanks everyone for the replies. I pretty much agree with all your replies. Dieagonal is my favorite, although I noticed, only a 6 move leader can make it to the 'side' keeps in two turns. But, generally the front keep is a smarter move for the first turns, and you can get a village if you move towards the up/down keep. I think Ill change the 6-move leader advantage if possible, but Id love to play anyone on any of these maps, Split Second in particular, I would like to see how it plays with real opponents, used only AI so far. I think Slip-n-Slide is gonna get removed, and Cornered is gonna get updated. Ill post some new maps as soon as I get them tested, working on them now.
