Okay, it works now, and yes I do like it :)

It'd probably be suitable for music for the title screen. If you convert it to Ogg Vorbis [1], and send it to me, and agree to distribute it under the GPL, I'll ship it with the game.

Normally I'd think you'd convert the source format (midi) to ogg, but sure you can do it that way if it still sounds good.

Send to davidnwhite@optusnet.com.au - or you can just put it on an accessible server and link to it here.

I, Fredrik Lindroth, agree to ship my music for integration in "Battle for Wesnoth" under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

As the proof that this music is my own work, I list the md5sums:

Is that a sufficient agreement?

Fredrik,

Yes that is fine, I will commit it to CVS shortly, and add you to the list of contributors.

Thank you for the music, it sounds great! I hope to see more contributions from you in the future!

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, because all contributions are welcome, but Fred's song 2 sounds wayyyy too similar to Canon in D by Pachelbel, imho.

I picked up the similarities immediately, and I suspect many others would as well. Perhaps this is a non-issue, but it would seem a little odd (to me) to hear this in-game.

I agree and noticed that also but i think that we should wait for futur music of Fred to have a better advice. He just did a normal harmonic march like many others do, and sometimes it really looks like stuff we already heared (cf-J.S.Bach). Any case, i'll wait until i hear more before judging since its not a final product i guess. :)

I had nothing about Bach in thought, and i'm sorry if it sounded like that. After all, it was just an improvisation. I would be happy if i hit the contributor list anyway.
