Thanks. I'm not one of the official music persons, so take this review with a grain of salt.

There were some parts of the melody I enjoyed, but overall I think it is too frantic for too long. Some of the high strings were about to give me a headache by the time I heard it twice; I think it needs more variation.

Just as note, I have a reasonably good musical background(I play various chordophone instruments) and I believe it would help to extend the notes.

Btw. what key is it in?

EDIT: Maybe some vibratos? Not sure if you can do that digitaly.

Okay, so my computer has been acting up, and it has crashed a couple of times, but today, it crashed while I was in the process of saving. Thus, the files are corrupted, and I can no longer work on it. I'll keep trying to work with system recovery and looking at my backups on my external hard drive, but I don't think anything will turn up. So, I'll just post the last ogg I have and leave it at that. The later version of the song I posted earlier is here: http://www.box.net/shared/0mv2eu5gsz . I tried to extend the quieter middle part to mellow the piece a little, but this file is little more than part of the middle repeated. I also was messing around on another file that I just use to test out motifs and play around and stuff, and it is also corrupted. I wasn't intending to post it or use it or anything, but I guess I'll just post the last file I have anyways. It's here: http://www.box.net/shared/2xhnmderri . Again, because I was messing around, it didn't really have an ending, so I just used Audacity to paste some of the beginning on the piece on the end to give it some resolution. Oh well. I'll let you know if I find anything elsewhere. In the meantime, if you want to use this/these for anything (or for ideas) I don't mind. I probably won't work much with them now. I always liked starting from scratch.

For what it's worth I can tell you really improved the piece a lot... a little mellow breather part was just what it needed. That is really sad that your working files got corrupted, though.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think of the stuff I was playing around with: the second link? I was thinking about whether or not I want to try and mess around some more with it and try to use pieces of it later in other projects or not....
