An apology...

Post by West »

...to those waiting for me to give some official reviews of their submissions. I'm moving to a new apartment in a few days and the latest weeks have been pure chaos. I've simply not had time to sit down and listen with the careful attention that this kind of music requires, let alone write any in-depth and constructive critiques.

I'm really sorry about that, and I'll get to it as soon as I possibly can. Just letting you know so you don't think you're being ignored.

Well, our old ISP screwed up and it's been more than two weeks without broadband. I'm on some unreliable 3.6Mb wireless deal with very limited bandwith now, so I can't listen to anything posted without worrying about how much b/w I'm using. Bear with me.

The solution is compress the audio file in a .zip file then you compress it again in another .zip file and bang! you discover the America :eng: (I never tried that but maybe it works...)

You can only compress something that much, zipping something twice would likely save you very little space, and zipping an mp3 or something would be more or less pointless to start with, seeing how it is already pretty compressed.
