can you alter the floor a little so it doesn't look like it's a wall? you know, things like depth and perspective and stuff artists used to do back in the old days (post middle ages, that is)

But perhaps you should 'flatten' it a bit, look slightly more like wickerwork than wood panelling.

Ok, will try to flatten it, have tested it a way flatter and the 3D effect looks pretty cool

I have drawn a castle but the result was pretty ugly
Here is another idea instead of the castle: Why don't we use the black space for the scrolling credits? In this case we could watch the scene and keep the view on the musicians... comments?

I like that idea, but you should put the stage a little lower in the frame so that it fills lmost of the frame.

Alright, I will lower the stage. I am now going to tweak the audience (replace the pikeman head with unique units) and animations.
