Graphics for Open Alchemist

Post by Efinari »

I used BFW graphics to make a new graphics set for Open Alchemist. You can find the graphics here.

My sincerest apologies to anyone who feels I have overstepped copyright regulations. :)

Sounds like you don’t really understand how it works, since you apparently decided to apologize after the fact instead of asking first.

The README file included in the Zip file mentions a license that is not the GNU GPL version 2 or later or a compatible (examples: GNU GPL version 2, GNU GPL version 3) license, and—while optional—it doesn’t bother to mention the origin of the contents either.

 , I never think of these things. :)

If I'm not careful, I will be slammed so hard for copyright abuse.

So is everything in order, or is there something that I should do? (besides things I should have done, like asking before the fact. :P )

Thanks for your patience.

This means that (1) you must update the README so it clearly states that the content is provided under the terms of the GNU GPL version 2 or later, and (2) you should mention where those graphics or their original versions came from (e.g. providing a link to Wesnoth.org).

Is this correct? (I'm sorry, please be patient. I'm not very good at all this. :P)
