There's a linux build of the last major version. He's in the process of putting together the linux build for this release. I'd guess it might be another month or so.

But like I said before (and Ken said too), the task that is currently underway is merging the SDL/OpenGL modifications from the version linked above into the new version. So Linux support will be in the official release soon! If you can't wait, supposedly the Windows version works in Wine.

I was using the ASCII interface for a while, but I later installed a graphics set and never looked back.

Glad to hear this info
To be honest these days I have no time for games of the like but I like ASCIIs (done some Angband-TOME last year)
And I think that any Free program must have a GNU/Linux version :mrgreen:

Glad to hear that there is tileset support too :mrgreen:
